My School has a big auditorium, a basketball court, a very big playground, a computer room etc. It has three floors and all floors have two entrances and exits. The children have made the playground beautiful by placing flower pots at different places. But I felt there were only a few trees around the school. If the School plant more trees, it would be very nice. These trees can protect the children from sunlight while they are playing outside. They can eat their lunch sitting under tree shades. So I talked to my class teacher and she discussed this idea with the School Principal. The Principal decided to have a Project to plant trees. Many children from class 1 to 12 participated in the Project and they dug the soil, planted trees and watered them. They planted trees like bamboo, banyan, mango tree etc. Now our School has the highest number of trees. Many students and teachers from other schools visit our School to see how trees can make a difference. The students get inspired and they promise to repeat the beautification in their own schools. I felt proud because it was my idea to plant trees and make my school a real model to other schools.
