I have a sister. She is five years younger than me. Her favourite toy is balloon. She likes balloons so much that if she sees anything round, she thinks it’s a balloon. So even a ball is a balloon for her. She has two other friends who are also of her age. They all play together. They also love balloons. I think most young children like balloons. Once we had gone for a carnival and we bought two balloons, they were really big and hence difficult to be kept in our car. So we thought to throw one balloon, but my sister insisted and started to cry as loud as possible, so we were forced to take it inside the car. After sometime the balloon burst as she was squeezing it. The sound of her yelling still resonates in my ears. Balloons are of various colours. We taught her different colours through these balloons.

I think kids like balloons as they are very colourful. Balloons are light weight so it easily flies off in the sky. During parties we decorate our houses with colourful balloons that are of different shapes. White balloons are a sign of peace. There are balloons in the shape of various cartoon characters. When I was young, I had a dream that I was holding a balloon and suddenly it flew high up in the air, I too flew up alongwith the balloon as the other end of the balloon was in my hand. As I flew up high I could see small buildings, small people, tiny vehicles etc. The sight was lovely. Suddenly a crow pecked on my balloon and then I fell down to the earth with a thud. The downward journey was faster than the upward journey. I got up all of a sudden and was happy to see myself sitting on my bed!!
