The poem describes the vicious cycle of a farmer’s life.

Oh! The vicious cycle in a farmer’s life.
The clumps of soil,
To be broken to fragments;
The fruits for tomorrow,
Falling through the fingers,
And into the soil.

The Manure- once living,
implanted into the depths of the soil,
For the rejuvenation of the now living.
The water trickling through the fields,
Showers from Above or Sprinklers Below,
To quench the thirst of the shooting youth.

And over to thwacking away,
Those unwanted lush stealers.
To drain the paddy,
To cut those plant,
And to lay them out for drying.
And to finally store away,
The fruits of the farmers hard work,
Before it is finally given away.
