The sky grew darker,
As came the invaders,
To take over us all;
And thought we were imponent.
But they got it wrong!

Physically we were drained but mentally strong,
We took a pledge to never tear apart.
And with this power came up the freedom fighters.

Don’t think they were just two or three,
Together we fought, the whole country!
Not worrying we would die or lose,
Fighting with our whole heart and soul.

Soon dawned in the day,
For the final battle,
One by one showed up all the Indians,
As our courage augmented, the invaders shrunk.

With a sense of pride towards our country,
And our belief in non-violence, truth, peace and integrity,
We battled with the invaders till our last breath,
And the day we finally were liberated, we say,
