Hey! Have you ever wondered about the beautiful striped tiger? Well, today, I will be talking about facts about the tiger.



  1. Did you know tigers are the largest cat species in the entire world!

  2. Tigers live between 20 to 26 years in the wild!

  3. Also, adult tigers generally live alone.

  4. Of course, you know cats are terrible swimmers, and they hate water, but unlike most other cats, tigers are great swimmers, and they like water!

  5. Tiger cubs are born blind and only open their eyes 1-2 weeks after birth!

  6. They are carnivores, which means they eat meat. They mainly feed on large mammals such as deer, wild pigs, antelope, and buffalo.

  7. Did you know? At full speed, tigers can reach up to 65km/h!

  8. No two tigers have the same stripes.

  9. Since every tiger has their pattern on its fur, they are all unique!

  10. Today, there are five species of tigers. These subspecies are the Bengal tiger, South China tiger, Indochinese tiger, Sumatran tiger, and the Siberian tiger. Sadly, three subspecies of tigers have become extinct, the Caspian, Bali, and Javan.
