]]>Last summer vacation I was in India with my family. We were planning to go for a jungle safari, so we booked our tickets for it. A week has passed by, so Sunday morning, I woke up exited while my sister was still sleeping. It was 5 o’clock when all of us got ready and got in the car. There were 2 cars. My sister and my parents got in one car and myself in the other with my grandparents. When we arrived at the place, where our tourist bus will reach, my cousins started to ask for their food so my aunt gave us some bread and jam. By the time the bus reached. We took the bags and got inside and from there we started our journey. First we reached butterfly garden from where we had our our breakfast. After that we roamed around the garden enjoying the sight of beautiful butterflies on the plants. It was the for the first time I saw such varieties of butterflies.
The tour guide took us to Athirapilly waterfalls. He told us that we could find many monkeys on the trees. There was a huge thin hanging bridge which measures 50.m, where started to cross. There was a wonderful view from the bridge. My uncle started shaking it for fun which frightened my grandmother, my mother, my aunts and even my cousins. We had a lot of fun crossing the bridge. Then the tour guide asked us to go through a passage which would lead us to a huge waterfall. The passage looked like a secret passage because it was filled with lots of trees and many flowers there were also a lot of monkeys and at last we reached the beautiful waterfall. Many of us took photos and videos and enjoyed a lot of fun time together. Then the tour guide took us to a small hotel for our lunch. Then we passed through a deep forest where we saw lots of birds, dears and buffaloes. And at last it was time for us to leave the forest. As we heard a rustle of trees, my cousins started saying ‘lion…lion…’ suddenly herds of elephants crossed the way and blocked the vehicle’s way ahead. It was dark in the night. The vehicles stopped and people started taking photographs. It seems like families of elephants going together with kids. We enjoyed that sight.
It was late at night when we reached back our home. I was very tired that I fell asleep very fast. I will never forget any of the sights and I really felt as if I was dreaming….

]]>We set of our journey at 7 AM. and reached by 10:30 AM (Stopped in between for breakfast). As I live at the south of Bangalore, which is near to Tamilnadu, going anywhere around Tamilnadu by car is quite easy. We wanted to visit a temple called Annamaliyaar, Shiva temple with Angi Linga. The temple complex covers 10 hectares, and is one of the largest in India. Near to the temple, there is a hill called Girivalam, from which Agni comes on Kartika day. There are numerous story behind this. One of the story is that of Shiva trying to show Bhrama that EGO is not relevant not even for gods.
There were so many inscriptions on the pillars and there were four gopurams. I don’t even think we roamed around the temple completely and we were tired. As it started drizzling we headed back, and just saw Ramana Maharishi’s Ashram nearby. Thankfully, we had packed Lemon rice and we could eat that on the way to Yellagiri hills, a small hill station. We saw monkeys on the way. Arjun, my brother was feeling mountain sick!! I can’t believe he feels scared of mountains. We just checked out on some of the good places to stay and planned to stayover next time. We headed back home and reached around 7:30 PM. I was as tired as a log. However, it was a memorable trip. Probably, this is my third road trip. We had gone to Tumkur (Shivganga mountain) and Kolar- Avani (Lav Kush’s birthplace) before. Looking for more road trips!!
Best part was: My grandma got me a game called Pallankuzhi- Ancient indoor game which can be played with some cowry shells

]]>This college is immortal and the students should get the benefit of
studying here. When I entered into my father’s department I saw many
microscopes, animals organ like kidney, liver, foetus etc. I also saw the
skeleton of animals. There was a rubbish monkey who was very scary. Smell
of chemicals was quite bad.
My father also explained about the parts of cow( Bos Indicus). Visiting
this type of institution are very helpful for teenagers. There were many
flowers and I was feeling very fresh while admiring the beauty of nature.
Knowing knowledge and getting experience helps a person to conquer all odds.

]]>Yesterday I and my friends went on a short picnic to an amusement park. We reached there at about 10a.m. We were six of us. Even though we had reached on time there was a serpentine queue for the tickets. I took the entrance ticket. The first ride we took was the Fury Wheel. It was really big, all of us were yelling and crying! After that we went on a Pony Ride which calmed everyone. Then there was the big Octopus ride, the individual seats revolved on its own and at the same time each hand of the octopus went in a circular motion. We went for two more rides The Ghost House and the Roller Coaster, which also took a toll of us. The dashing car was fun to be in! We dashed each other’s car. Then we decided to have lunch. Each of us had brought some food to eat like sandwiches, fruit juices, pastas etc. Our mothers took care that we don’t eat food from outside. After that were the rides which we all were waiting for-the water rides. We went in all of them without any hesitation. The Wave Pool and the Rain Dance were my favourites. Atlast we saw a 5D movie. This movie took us through broken bridges, steep mountains, dilapidated houses etc. Finally it was evening and time to go. It was such an enjoyable and memorable day. All of us had met after a long time. We were all sad while returning home.

]]>My joy knew no bounds and I jumped out and got ready in a jiffy! We boarded the bus and reached the zoo in an hour. To enter the zoo, we needed to take an entry ticket. Beside the ticket counter was an ice- cream shop. My uncle spared a moment to buy me a chocolate ice- cream; I wish he had bought a stick ice- cream, rather than a cup ice- cream so that I don’t litter the place. This made me think if I am still a baby!!!Anyways something is better than nothing. As we entered the zoo, I could hear the chirping of birds. We saw that the branches of some of the trees touched the ground. I could see various birds perched on these trees. There were birds like pelicans, nightingales, peacocks, owls etc. For the first time I saw a white peacock, the sight was fascinating. Then we moved on to the place where reptiles were kept. There were snakes like pythons, vipers etc. I also saw a king cobra with its hood up. There were also big frogs, lizards; that were double the size of what I’ve seen at home.
There was a pond with a low wall where there were crocodiles and alligators separated by a wall. I’ve seen crocodiles with their mouths open only on the National Geographical channel. Lo and behold! Here I am seeing a real crocodile with its mouth wide open. Wow! It was most probably the first and the last time that I am seeing such a sight. I wanted to take a snap, but photography was prohibited in the zoo. Oh! How I wished I could take just one snap. As though reading my mind, my uncle old me that taking photos were not allowed to maintain the peace and tranquility of the place and also not to disturb the animals. Then we moved on to the animals section. There were lions, tigers, rhinos, giraffes and a mal nutritioned camel. It seemed as though it would end its life any moment. There was also an African elephant and many more animals in the zoo. Finally, it was time to leave. I wish I could spend some more time. But time mattered, so like a good boy, without any fuss we left the zoo. On our way back my uncle asked me, “Which section did you like the most?” I didn’t think a moment and said, “Reptiles.” As I sat in the window seat I realized that my mouth also was open like that of the crocodile that was because my mind was still in the zoo. It was a good experience and here I am sharing it with you all. I think everyone should visit a zoo.

]]>Two years ago, I was tugging at my father’s sleeve. Let’s go, let’s go!. I was so excited. This was going to be my first Train journey. We entered the train and found our seats and checked out the bunks. This was so cool! A loud whistles… yes! It started moving, picking up speed. We moved on from the hurry burry of railway station to calmer greener surroundings. The TC came, Ticket….. Ticket…. Later I went off to sleep. I got up with the sound of chaay, chaay, chaay, idli vada, idi vada, idli vada. I looked out of the window and I was like oh my god! The rising sun, the greenery, the rivers, way more ..beautiful than paintings I have seen.
I walked towards the basin to brush my teeth and all my joy left with the horrible stink in the toilet. I didn’t even feel like peeing. Some men and ladies came selling books bangles fruits and so on. There came a lady holding a blind man singing Pardesi Pardesi jaana nahi, mujhe chodke, mujhe chodke…kuch tho de naa….!
It was evening, the familiar smell, the lush green paddy fields and chayya, chayya, kappi, kappi and yes! I knew it we reached Gods own country – my home town! At the next station there was lot of rush and a crew entered for shooting of No. 20 Madras mail movie part 2. Wow and there Mohanlal and Mammotty walked in — seeing me — they offered me for the kids role and I was ready with a big yes! The rest of my journey was awesome with the shoot.
Now you wait and watch! to see me in the movie
Thanks you all..
