That day finally came! It was the day for which we had all waited. It was the beautification day in our school. We had many things to do. Me and my friends were planting saplings, picking up litter, brooming the floors and corridors, making good posters for our school board. We were even painting the walls of our school. The posters we made created awareness about keeping our surroundings clean. A group of students also stuck pictures to explain about diseases spread thorough unhealthy practices. We also enacted a drama about water conservation. At the end of the day the we were feeling proud. All were surprised and appreciated us. Our Principal gave certificate of appreciation to all of us. Now students of all classes want to imitate our efforts. Our old school now looks like a brand new school. We all were very happy. It was such a nice day.
