Respected teachers and my dear friends,
Good morning. Today I am going to tell you the story of Birbal.
Birbal was the wisest of all ministers in the court of King Akbar. One day he went for a walk around a market near to his palace. When he turned the corner of the market he met a rich merchant. The merchant said, "Sir, there has been a theft in my house. I suspect one of my servants to be the thief. Kindly help me to find the thief. Birbal called all the servants and gave them each, a stick of the some length and said, "This is a magic stick. When this is in the hands of the real thief, it will grow by an inch a day. Let us see tomorrow”. Servant who had actually stolen the money thought, "If I cut the stick by an inch, Then tomorrow it will be of the original length". So, he cut the stick by an inch. The next day, Birbal assembled the servants and found that one only stick was shorter. He said, "You are the thief ,The stick I gave was just an ordinary stick. Your evil mind has betrayed you. He immediately ordered his soldiers to put the thief in jail.
The moral of the story is that always be true to yourself and others. Our wrong doings might go unnoticed today but surely will get caught one day.
Thank you
Very smart
