I am Malavika Vinod. This time, I am here to share about my favourite proverb. Can you guess which proverb is it? I will give you one clue. It is a proverb that every child in the world has to follow in his/her life. Now think very hard. Yes!! It is Honesty is the best policy. When I thought about this proverb, the first thing that came into my mind was the story of the woodcutter and the golden axe. In the story the woodcutter was really very honest to the Goddess that came out of the river. Do you know from where I heard the story? Yes!!! It was from my favourite  Ebina teacher who taught me in class LKG. But do you know what does the proverb mean? It means that we should never ever lie to our parents, teachers and friends. So dear friends, please don’t lie in your life. If we lie in our class, we will be disliked by our teachers and friends. And, if we lie to our parents they too, will be angry and sad. Everyone, our teachers and parents are like God.  If we lie to them, then it will be like as if we are lying to God. If we are honest then everyone will like us. So let us be honest!!!
